Between fishing guiding and a full season of upland hunting in rugged country of Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, etc. these pants just keep going. The Tech pants fit great and wear like 5 pairs of lesser nylon pants. Somehow, Arborwear has invented a nylon pant thick enough to be really durable that still dries quickly. In fact, after a full season of hunting, they still look like they did when bought them. — Bruce Smithhammer – Oct 30, 2010
I have been in the tree and landscape business for the last nine years. During my first year a friend had turned me on to the Original Tree Climber Pants. I have loved the durability and the protection for my legs while aloft in the trees as urban forestry requires lots of friction points for balance. Last fall another friend suggested that I try the Tech Pants. I was concerned that they might not have the same grip when in the canopy, I was also concerned that I might "feel" a bit more bark through the thinner fabric and that the wind would cut through them with greater ease than the traditional thicker fabric. I was wrong on all accounts!!!!!!!! These pants are even more comfortable aloft, they breath better, dry quickly in the rain and summer sweat. As others I wear them almost every day washing them once a week as they pick up little dirt or stain. In the winter I had bought a pair of thermals for use under, and maybe used them a couple of times. I love these pants and want another pair so I can wash them more frequently vs. just spritzing them with a little fabreeze every two to three days, yes they also absorb little odor as well... Oh and by the way I have yet to spur through the cuffs and I have hooked the cuffs plenty of times... There is nothing that can be said in deference to these magnificent trousers. I cant wait to try the new Stretch type... — Keith Hayes – Oct 27, 2010
I'm a working arborist from Ontario, Canada and I get all kinds of conditions thrown at me on a typical day. Recently I was chosen as the climber to erect some bald eagle nesting platforms on the St. Lawrence river, right in the heart of the 1000 islands region. The day was wet and got colder as it progressed. My tech pants and tech shirt kept me dry and comfortable while 60 feet up in a big white pine. They are super durable, tough beyond belief and the gusseted crotch lets me climb the way I like to, kind of like a contortionist in the trees. Even if when I got pine pitch on the pants, a bit of acetone took it right off with no ill effect on the tough nylon material at all. I own 2 pairs now and will soon own a 3rd! — Cary Gibson – Oct 27, 2010

I would give the tech pants a 100 out of 5 any day! I have been wearin em for 5 years and left whatever jeans, pants, work pants that started with a C. only to find these are the ticket to comfort and manhood! The hardest working gear I have ever worn, don't be lost. Be Found in the tech pants... — Vincent Zastoupil – Aug 24, 2010
These pants have been the greatest purchases I have made for work. I have four pairs in different colors and wear them all year round. They are perfect for the summer because they are light and breathable. If you get wet or sweat, they dry very quickly. Being an arborist, the gusset crotch is amazing for climbing. They are extremely comfortable and durable. Will continue buying them for years to come! — Tyler Altenburger – Aug 22, 2010
These are some of the best nylons out there...thick and hardy, but dry fast and keep you cool to boot. — Tal Robinson – Aug 21, 2010
I have been a consulting forester in VT for 16 years and have worn and prematurely worn out countless pairs of work pants, that is, until I purchased my first pair of Tech pants years ago when they first came out. I am STILL wearing those pants and have purchased another pair since then. They are comfortable and tough beyond all reason. Because they are nylon they also dry quickly which is a plus when working in the forest; hats off to you Arborwear! — Andrew Sheere – Aug 20, 2010
I purchased a set of the Arborwear Tech Pant in 2005. I have basically worn them every single day since then. I'm not kidding. That's only barely an exaggeration. I mean, from time to time I take them off, but that's about it. I have worked in them, played in them and slept in them. I have worn them hiking, swimming, bicycle riding, rock climbing, sleeping, driving, boating, and just about every other word that can end with "ing". So, how have they performed? If the scale of performance is 1 to 10 the Arborwear Tech Pant scores a 42. Seriously, they're THAT good. Aside from the velcro tabs on the pockets having worn out the pants are so rugged that they've shown little to no sign of wear. I've gone thousands of miles with the seat of my bicycle trying to rub a hole in the seat of the pants and they've withstood it. I've rolled around in the dirt for countless weekends of camping and the knees are still in like-new condition. I tell everyone I talk to who is curious about quality clothing about the Arborwear Tech Pant because they are simply the best, most durable, practical, and comfortable item of clothing I've ever worn in my 35 years of wearing clothing.
