Steve Phillips of Oxbow River & Stream Restoration was contracted to rehab one of the only creeks in Ohio supporting a native population of Brook Trout. Were it not for the efforts of Steve and the Chagrin River Land Conservancy, the real estate company that began developing the WoodieBrook watershed, would have succeeded in destroying this unique ecosystem. This is a shot of Steve, knee-deep in the stream that he helped to preserve.
