Hammock Time
After well over a quarter century of climbing trees and utility poles, we think Howard has earned a bit of hammock time. “Big Jake” was a lineman and foreman for Orange and Rockland Utilities for 35 years and operated Jacobsen Tree Service on the weekends. Not only has Big Jake taught us that there is light at the end of the tunnel for us younger tree guys, but also that it isn’t a crime to wear a Hawaiian shirt with a pair of Lightweight Tree Climbers’ Pants. Hats off to you, Big Jake!
