Gordon Rock Climbing
This is Ingrid Gordon, 10 feet into her first lead climb of the season near Leavenworth, Washington. If the encyclopedia had a category for “hardcore chicks”, they would undoubtedly have to reserve a good portion of that section for discussion of Ingrid. A long-time grassroots environmental activist, Ingrid has spent a good chunk of her life working to bring attention to many of the pressing environmental concerns of our time.
Most recently, Ingrid has established a non-profit organization called Gear For Good, which locates and solicits quality gear from outdoor companies and distributes it to worthy organizations such as Ancient Forests International, Ancient Trees, The Nature Conservancy and Greenpeace, just to name a few.
