Champion Bald Cypress
This photo of our good friend, Tom Dunlap, was taken in front of the biggest bald cypress tree known to man. It would have taken a dozen more Tom Dunlaps to encircle the massive trunk. This beauty has been standing in a remote area of West Feliciana Parish along the Mississippi for more than 1,500 years. It was a damn good thing Tom didn’t find any gators living in the base of that hollow tree!
