Belize Help The Harpy Eagles
Our friend Sam Meacham travels to The Bladen Nature Reserve in southern Belize every year to help develop a bird monitoring program for Harpy Eagles. When he’s not in Belize, he runs a non profit dedicated to protecting the freshwater resources in Quintana Roo, Mexico (www.cindaq.org). Fortunately, we weren’t the only ones taking notice of all the hard work Sam does in our britches. National Geographic Adventure just named him one of their Adventurers of the Year. Your award, Sam?
