Arborwear Bee Suit
During a trip to Costa Rica to inspect a modified ski tram used to access the rain forest canopy, Tiffany was recruited to help evict a swarm of Africanized Honey bees (AKA killer bees) from one of the tram towers. "We donned our Arborwear gear, taping the cuffs and sleeves over gloves, along with a piece of screen to go underneath our helmets," she said. "We used our climbing harnesses and work positioning lanyards so we could work at elevation without worrying about falling. The only real concern was the possibility of one of those bees sneaking into an opening in our clothing. One sting would have incited the whole swarm to do the same, most likely resulting in death (I guess they don’t call them killer bees for nothing.) Thanks to our multipurpose Arborwear bee suits, we were able to make the tram safe for humans again."
