For me and Bill, the journey from hard-working tree climber guys to harder-working clothes-maker-guys was a short one. 35 feet in fact. That’s how far I fell from a Red Maple, busting up my back pretty good. As I lay there in my Paul shaped crater I thought, “Boy, I wish I had tougher pants. And organs.” So during my stint in the hospital I came up with a plan for heavy-duty canvas kidneys. Once they reduced my medication, I realized that making heavy duty canvas pants was a more realistic goal, so we started Arborwear in my parents’ basement. Since then, hard-working folks and outdoorsy types everywhere have told us they love our gear.
We make honest, hard-working clothes. Rugged, comfortable, and designed to make any outdoor job easier. Which has always been a personal goal of ours. We’re really proud of this stuff. And we’d be proud if you wore them. And a little less in debt. But enough about Bill and myself. Check out my pants and let’s get it on.
